If you are on the fence about spending the extra money to upgrade from hand taping to semi-automatic, just bite the bullet and purchase. They pay for themselves after the first 2 jobs. Not a big learning curve, YouTube has lots of videos. Good luck out there!

This is exactly what we needed! Easy to use for all our rim joist jobs that we just couldn't wait for the huge sprayfoam rig for, to get to us in our rural town. And the service we got from Bart's was amazing. Such care in packing for shipping. Quick and efficient! Will defiantly be ordering again!
After receiving the set there is no way to attach the Skimming Blade Adapter to the handle. I don't see the point is selling the handle if you can't use it. Waste of money.
Edit: after submitting this review I got a call from Bart explaining there was missing piece for the kit. They sent it right away. I can now use the handle

This is a great kit for a for a great price. It also showed up fast. I live in BC and it showed up in 3 days.
I was hesitant to buy knives with a metal handle but I’ve had no issues with grip, and the metal butt’s are great for pounding screws, dents and indenting holes. they have more flex than I’m used to but I adjusted and can now say that I love this set. The price was spectacular as well.

I always recommend genuine Durastilts, however they are quite a bit more expensive lately and this most recent iteration has a bit of a goofy adjustment for the angle of the leg brace, it’s a hex nut captured behind the assembly, it should be a square nut imo.
Very happy with this kit. Great value for everything you get. Would recommend getting the larger case for if you want to add anymore items to this kit. The smaller case is big enough for everything included. Overall very happy with this set!
